"Repair"

Illustration Friday "Repair"

Hello, It is very nice to know that some amazing artists are reading my blog.

I think that we all need a few words of encouragement once in a while. Many of you have inspired me to paint again, after years of having neglected that "outlet" of mine, so...

                           THANK YOU!!!

And thank you for all your kind comments that make my heart smile.

I have submitted an illustration for the "Illustration Friday" website, it took me 12 hours to figure out how to size the file to a thumbnail, and I am still not sure if I did it right, there are some great illustrators and I don't have professional training, so we will see.

I made this little chicken fixing what was once his home. I hope you like it!

AGE

Age: “Accumulation of changes in an organism or object over time” (Wikipedia)

We hear it all the time. How fast life goes.  We see the changes, some very difficult not to notice.  We see it by watching our children grow.  We see it in the way we look.  We see it pass on in pictures and we stare at them as if they were mystical windows that transport us to the past.

Some of us will age with pity, some will age with grudges, and some with grace and pride.

Time won’t stop to make us feel younger; time will go on without any considerations. Time at the end will keep on and we will become a memory or an image. Let’s live life.  Enjoy every moment of it and cherish every single second, because that second will pass and won’t come back.

Let age become a gift and not a burden. Enjoy it.  Live it.  And let time pass with…Grace!

13

I've never been someone who believes in bad luck, I believe that we live the life that we create and that we receive the same way that we give.
Even when sometimes life brings unfortunate events. We can find the strength to overcome them.

"There is no way out but trough"

Anyway, my family and I just came back from Disney, it was great, I wanted to share this STARS illustration with you.

When dreams come true

I have been visiting Disney for two days, and I feel that I am getting younger, really young...
Maybe it's the laughs with my children, the silly faces that we make when we walk, or plain and simple...just being there as a family.

Dreams come true for them when they walk trough those "magical" gates...and dreams come true for me when I see them smile.
